The video gives really thorough instructions on how to make the storage bag shown. First of all, it give a paper template with dimensions clearly shown, which is really useful to refer to while making your bag. The template shows the measurements for making one of the quarters, so will obviously need to be used frequently throughout the making of the bag.
The material shown for the outside fabric and internal fabric are all different pieces of material. Although in the video the material appears to be cotton, there is no reason why you can’t use other materials. To make the quarters more ridged, you will need to use cotton batting (the video uses non-iron type, and it simply adheres to the pieces of fabric).
Really the bag requires only a minimal amount of materials and equipment, and would be perfect for someone who is maybe fairly new to sewing.
